Mobile robots

Mars Rover: The rocket transportation the Mars Rover on Mars, in Department 10 June 2003 and to land on January 3, 2004. The biggest mission for the Mars Rover was looking for a large ranks of the different types of rocks and soils that produced evidence that there is water on Mars.


SHRIMP is a rover developed by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne ( EPFL). He was chosen as the basis for mini-rover SOLERO. SHRIMP has an innovative chassis, six wheels allow it to operate in rough terrain. (Alex)

For years robots have been produced for tasks on earth. In 2003, the mission of the explotation of the rover was launched in March and two robots the size of golf carts. The robots were called "Spirit" and "Opportunity."

It is able to move on any terrain possible. They can be controlled or they can be aware of the obstacles. (Cait) These robots are finally small and sophisticated mobile oven.
